Handcrafted cold process soap is made with care - and a little extra care will help your bars last longer. Here are a few simple tips to get the most of out your soap: 

Keep it dry between uses: Allow you soap to fully dry after each use by placing it on a well-draining soap dish. Avoid letting it sit in standing water, as this can cause the bar to soften and wear down quickly. 

Let it breathe: Store unused bars in a cool, dry place with good airflow. This helps preserve their quality and can even extend their life. 

Use a soap saver: A dish soap with good grooves or a natural sisal soap saver bag helps promote drainage and keeps your bar firm.

Cut larger bars in half: Using a smaller portion at a time helps your soap lat longer and stay fresh.

Keep away from direct streams of water: Instead of leaving your bar under running water in the shower, move it out of the direct stream to prevent from dissolving too quickly.  

Travel smart: When taking your soap on the go, let it dry first and store it in a breathable container or bag to avoid excess moisture buildup.

With just a little intentional care, your handcrafted soap will continue to provide a rich, nourishing lather from first use to the very last sliver.
